Following the passing of my grandfather earlier this year, I was greatly impacted by the outstanding care he received from his nurses in hospice care. This inspired me to dive deep and learn more about the eldercare health system, and to have an opportunity to interact with the elderly and give something back to them in a positive way as my grandfather had done my whole life. As a result, I was fortunate enough to intern at a leading nursing rehabilitation center in New York. During my time at West Village Rehabilitation, I had the opportunity to work closely with the head administrators responsible for running the facility.
